My name is Silje and I am a 27 year old self taught photographer from Bergen, Norway. I have always had an interest in photography ever since I was young, but my passion started to really grow the past two years, after I got into street photography.
My street photography journey started after seeing some street photos of Bergen online and discovering just how beautiful this city really was. I decided to try it out for myself and fell completely in love with it right away. Now one of my favorite things to do is to roam the streets of Bergen and document all the beautiful, charming details you find in it’s cute little alleyways.
I also love shooting photos of people and capturing real, authentic moments. Nothing makes me more happy than capturing someone with a genuin smile on their face! When it comes to places to shoot, I love shooting outside, especially near nature, as it has so much beauty to offer.
I’ve shot many different types of photography over the past years, including portraits, weddings, engagements, food festivals, speeches, protests and concerts, and I’m always open to trying out new things!
